Set Breakdown:

This set include 25 of the 26 episodes. It is not the complete series because it is missing one episode.

This set is for fans of the series to enjoy this rare cartoon once again. We did our best to make this set viewable again.  The quality is not perfect and varies with each episode. We have cleaned, enhanced and upscaled it to 1080p HD.

The screenshots are taken from a 60″ LCD TV playing on a standard Blu-ray player. Set come with a interactive menu so you can easily navigate to each episode with chapter skips and a play all feature to play the whole disc.

Story:

The show is set in the Little Kingdom, which is a miniature kingdom hidden among bushes. It is ruled by fairies King and Queen Thistle. They live in the Little Castle with their three daughters; 8-year-old Princess Holly and her naughty younger twins Daisy and Poppy. Nanny Plum is the fairies’ nanny and housekeeper, known for her sarcastic comments and overall uninterested mood. Elves, including 8-year-old Ben Elf, live at the Great Elf Tree, which acts as a school, library, apartment complex and factory all in one. Elves are more traditional and live like humans, not using magic, while fairies are modern and magic-oriented. Despite this, the Elf Factory is run on magic.

The Wise Old Elf is the leader of his kind. He operates the Elf Rescue, Elf Farm and Elf Windmill, among many others. Elves have their catchphrase, “…and I’m an elf” (occasionally “we’re elves”), tooting their horn afterwards, however, they sometimes just blow a raspberry, such as in “The Elf Factory” when an Elf Worker forgets her horn. Fairies have a matching catchphrase, “I’m a fairy”, followed by a wave and sparkle of their wands. Ben and Holly also have a coccinellid ladybird pet named Gaston, who is their best friend and barks like a dog.

Playback breakdown:

Standard Blu-ray player: This has the highest playback of all options. I recommend this option if available to you – please make sure your Blu-ray player is fully updated for the best playback experience.

PlayStation 3: I have tested my sets on my PS3, I have a generation 1 FAT model with a firmware of 4.43 and it plays fine. Remember that playback of PS3 is determined by the version of the system and the update you’re on.

PlayStation 4: This has the highest playback of the PlayStation systems. Quality of playback is determined by the version of the system and the update you are currently on. Make sure your system is fully updated for the best playback.

Xbox One: Based on customers reports Xbox has the lowest playback of all game systems. There are some ways to improve playback by updating the system and making sure the Blu-ray app in the system has the newest update. Playback is determined by the version of the system and the update you’re on.

All of this information is based on customer reports and personal experience. I would urge you to go through my feedback to see other customers experiences with playback.
