This set contains the complete series to:
Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (1979–1980)
The original thirty-minute version of Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo constitutes the fourth incarnation of the Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning cartoon Scooby-Doo. It premiered on September 22, 1979, and ran for one season on ABC as a half-hour program. A total of sixteen episodes were produced. It was the last Hanna-Barbera cartoon series (excluding prime-time specials) to use the studio’s laugh track.
Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (1980)
The original format of four teenagers and their dog(s) solving faux-supernatural mysteries for a half-hour was eschewed for simpler, more comedic adventures that involved real supernatural villains (the villains in previous Scooby episodes were almost always regular humans in disguise).
A total of 33 half-hour episodes, each of which included three 7-minute shorts, were produced over three seasons, from 1980 to 1982 on ABC. Thirteen episodes were produced for the 1980–81 season, and seven more for the 1981–82 as segments of The Richie Rich/Scooby Doo Show. The remaining thirteen episodes were produced as segments of The Scooby & Scrappy-Doo/Puppy Hour for the 1982–83 season. Out of the 99 shorts that were produced, 86 of them feature Scooby-Doo, his nephew Scrappy-Doo and Shaggy without the rest of the Mystery Inc gang, and the other 13 only feature Scrappy-Doo and Yabba-Doo.
The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show (1983) / The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries (1984)
The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show is the sixth incarnation of the Hanna-Barbers Saturday morning cartoon Scooby-Doo. It premiered on September 10, 1983, and ran for one season on ABC as a half-hour program made up of two eleven-minute short cartoons. In 1984, the name of the show was changed to The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries, with the actual show format remaining the same. However, for season 2, Fred and Velma returns to the show after a four year absence. The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries ran for another season.
Playback breakdown:
Standard Blu-ray player: This has the highest playback of all options. I recommend this option if available to you – please make sure your Blu-ray player is fully updated for the best playback experience.
PlayStation 3: I have tested my sets on my PS3, I have a generation 1 FAT model with a firmware of 4.43 and it plays fine. Remember that playback of PS3 is determined by the version of the system and the update you’re on.
PlayStation 4: This has the highest playback of the PlayStation systems. Quality of playback is determined by the version of the system and the update you are currently on. Make sure your system is fully updated for the best playback.
Xbox One: Based on customers reports Xbox has the lowest playback of all game systems. There are some ways to improve playback by updating the system and making sure the Blu-ray app in the system has the newest update. Playback is determined by the version of the system and the update you’re on.
All of this information is based on customer reports and personal experience. I would urge you to go through my feedback to see other customers experiences with playback. Many customers have had great success playing these on game systems. I put this here to be open and honest with you so you can have the best experience possible.
Running these Blu-rays on a video game consoles could result in playback issues based on all the information above.
Please e-mail me if you have any questions. I am here to help. 🙂

Literally Couldn’t be happier with my purchase, scooby doo has literally been my entire childhood, and as Scooby doo collector to see things like this existing and being made for everyone to collect and relive their childhood again.
Now the image quality is literally amazing, it’s just like I remember watching it as a kid on the tv, it’s sharp and crisp, the sound quality is a 10/10 and I absolutely love that theres even an episode menu, literally a work of art if you ask me♥️

Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Warner Bros has always been wary of releasing Scrappy media and as one of the few people out there that don’t mind Scrappy it’s great to actually be able to get a collection of that entire era! The quality is great as well as the sound! Couldn’t of asked for a better set!
