Set Breakdown:

This set contains Phineas and Ferb Across the 2nd Dimension, Candace Against the Universe, Mission Marvel, Star Wars cleaned, enhanced and mastered in 720p HD.

The screenshots are taken from my 60” LCD TV with an iPhone playing on a standard Blu-ray player. This set comes with an interactive menu system.

Across the 2nd Dimension:

Phineas and Ferb create an enormous shuttlecock to play platypult (platypus + catapult) badminton. Perry enters his secret lair and is warned by Major Monogram that he’s had some close calls with his “host family” (the Flynn-Fletchers) almost seeing him enter his lair. He then warns Perry that if his cover’s blown, he’ll have to be relocated to another city, with another host family and that he’ll never see Phineas and Ferb again. He also reveals that Perry has an auto-scan replication device which he uses to scan and replicate all of Doofenshmirtz’s “inators”. Perry leaves the lair in a hovercraft, but accidentally collides with the boys’ shuttlecock while both are in flight. The boys crash into Doofenshmirtz’s lab and damages his “Other-Dimension-inator”, intended to create portals to parallel dimensions. While Phineas and Ferb assist Doofenshmirtz in repairing the machine, Perry arrives to stop Doofenshmirtz, but not wanting to reveal his identity and put Phineas and Ferb in danger, reverts to pet mode and cannot stop them.

Candace Against the Universe:

Candace Flynn’s day of optimism is ruined when she fails to tell her mother about the antics of her brothers Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher, who make crazy inventions that Candace perceives as “ruining her life”. Candace airs her grievances to her friend Vanessa Doofenshmirtz, and as they talk, a space pod, which she mistakes for one of her brother’s inventions, appears and kidnaps them. Phineas and Ferb witness this and, identifying the license plate on it, learn that it is from the planet Feebla-Oot in the Vroblok Cluster. With this knowledge, they recruit their friends Isabella Garcia-Shapiro, Baljeet Tjinder, and Buford van Stomm to help them build a portal to the planet. However, the portal redirects them to Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc., where they seek the help of a redeemed Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz. Anticipating that the portal would not work, Doofenshmirtz had built a spaceship – which he dubs a “Galactic Travel Inator”. He and the children travel to Feebla-Oot, with Perry the Platypus secretly following them.

Mission Marvel:

Iron Man, Spider-Man, Hulk and Thor stand powerless after being struck by Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s power-drain “inator” invention. Once the supervillains – Red Skull, Whiplash, Venom and M.O.D.O.K. – find out that Dr. Doofenshmirtz is responsible for robbing the superheroes of their powers, they seek him out and together create mayhem in Danville. Meanwhile, Phineas and Ferb do everything they can to restore the superheroes’ powers before the evil villains take over the world. Candace tries to help out, but her actions do more harm than good, which causes a rift between her and Phineas.

Star Wars:

Perry the “Rebelpus” breaks into the Imperial Corporate Offices, steals a disc containing the plans for the Death Star, and rendezvouses with Princess Leia’s ship. Meanwhile, on the planet Tatooine, Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher live with their parents as contented moisture farmers. Darth Vader’s Star Destroyer intercepts Leia’s ship, forcing her to load the disc into R2-D2, but she is observed by a trio of Imperial stormtroopers, including Candace Flynn. Candace attempts to report the actions of the Rebels to the empire but is put down by her commanding officer. After seeing R2-D2 and C-3PO entering an escape pod, the trio decide to pursue them in a second escape pod and prove their worth by recapturing the lost plans, with Perry secretly hitching a ride with them.

Playback breakdown:

Standard Blu-ray player: This has the highest playback of all options. I recommend this option if available to you – please make sure your Blu-ray player is fully updated for the best playback experience.

PlayStation 3: I have tested my sets on my PS3, I have a generation 1 FAT model with a firmware of 4.43 and it plays fine. Remember that playback of PS3 is determined by the version of the system and the update you’re on.

PlayStation 4: This has the highest playback of the PlayStation systems. Quality of playback is determined by the version of the system and the update you are currently on. Make sure your system is fully updated for the best playback.

Xbox One: Based on customers reports Xbox has the lowest playback of all game systems. There are some ways to improve playback by updating the system and making sure the Blu-ray app in the system has the newest update. Playback is determined by the version of the system and the update you’re on.
